Emma's Timing

This morning Christy and I were talking about whether to allow Emma to use finger paints indoors. I said that I would prefer to allow Emma to use her play-doh at the table. Christy responded, “Really? I would think that finger paints are better indoors. Play-doh is harder to get out of the carpet.”

 

At which point Emma looked at me and said matter-of-factly, “Yeah.”
